Description and notes:
Birthplace and home chantry of the Righteous Fists of the Lord, better known as God's Fist. The building, at 321 North 76th Street (corner of 76th & Blue Mound), once housed the Roufusport Mixed Martial Arts Academy. Today it remains a martial arts training facility, but sections have been set aside for religious observances and the housing of full-time training staff, students, and a few clergymen. The Fists have many smaller training facilities scattered across the city and state, but the home chantry retains its prestige and historical significance; most members prefer to take their formal vows here when first admitted to the order. The chantry does not employ any security force; members pride themselves on their ability to take care of themselves. The Fists have extended their protection to nonmembers in the general area of the chantry, enhancing their reputation for good deeds and giving them an informal early-warning system in the event of any hostile activity nearby.
Besides providing combat training for both prospective and current members of their order, the chantry provides religious services and spiritual guidance for any who seek it. It is also the site of an annual unarmed combat tournament open to all Fists. The only prize awarded is prestige, but charging fees to spectators is the source of most of the order's income.
